We took a trekker and reached Tarapith complex which is around 8-9 km. away. It took us 15 minutes to reach there and per head cost was INR 20. There are hundreds of hotels and lodges out there and there is no dearth of accommodation specially as we reached there during off season. We took a double room at INR 500 for group of 6 persons. The hotel name was 'Maa er daan'. The room was clean. As soon asWe all got ready and came out of the hotel at around 8 AM.we started walking towards the temple. There were many small shops on either side of the street. At Tarapith there are two main types of Darshans - Free Darshan and Paid Darshan. Paid darshan are of 3 types - Rs. 30/-, Rs. 100/- and Rs. 200/-. Free darshan takes about 3 hours to get Darshan.
